    4. I think it is not good that one dog gets to stay inside and that the rest have to stay outside. I have two and they have never spent on night outside even though it is always summer since we live in a tropical country!

  2. Please be aware of the beef/chicken broth you use. Broths may contain onions and garlic, which are toxic to dogs in any form.

  3. I love these ideas and plan to make them. Also, some broths contain alot of salt, so might need to check that, as well.

  5. Please be advised that giving you dog ice or very cold anything can be very hazardous. I would recommend making inquiries to your vet before presenting this to your dog. While its a great idea for humans the affect has been known to pet dogs into shock and caused problems with the stomach

  6. I have been making something similar, yet even easier for years. Whenever I use a can of spring water tuna, I drain it into a yogurt cup with a lid and freeze it. After a long walk with my dog, I pop one out for her to cool down.

  7. We live in upstate NY and for about the next 5 days we're expecting 90 deg. temps. I made these for our dogs this morning and they're out enjoying them (in the shade) right now. Thanks for the idea!
